MPN Advocacy & Education International provides educational programs, materials and resources for patients, caregivers, physicians and entire healthcare teams to improve their understanding of myelofibrosis, polycythemia vera, and essential thrombocythemia. We are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected by MPNs and strive to grow awareness and advocate on behalf of the MPN community.
Founded by patients for patients, the MPN Research Foundation is a catalyst for research funding in pursuit of new treatments – and eventually a cure – for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) is the leading independent advocacy organization representing all patients and families affected by rare diseases. NORD is committed to the identification, treatment and cure of the more than 7,000 rare diseases, of which approximately 90% are still without an FDA-approved treatment or therapy. Rare diseases affect 25-30 million Americans. More than half of those affected are children.
